Dee-Jana Garriques, Master of Social Work Intern

My name is Dee-Jana Garriques, and I am a social work intern at Path to Renewal.  I am currently in my master's program at Quinnipiac University. I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with my bachelor's in psychology and a minor in business administration. I am interested in working with young adults, high school, and college-age individuals. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment using a person-centered,  strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral approach. My goal is for clients to feel heard and respected. As an intern, I am continuing to develop my clinical skills under the supervision of experienced social workers.
